Criminal Background Checks — All applicants are required to authorize Compassionate Care Hospice to conduct a criminal background check. Your employment with us is conditional upon our review of this information. Compassionate Care Hospice reserves the right to conduct this check at any time after you have been employed.
Health Examinations — Your employment with Compassionate Care Hospice is contingent on having an employment physical clearance completed.
Driver’s License/Driving Record — Employees in positions where the operation of a motor vehicle is an essential duty of the position must present and maintain a valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record to our insurer.
Certification, Licensing and Other Requirements — You will be informed by your supervisor if there are any licensing, certification or testing requirements for your job.
Immigration Reform and Control Act — In compliance with the federal Immigration Reform and Control Act of 1986 (IRCA), as amended, and any state law requirements, if applicable, our company is committed to employing only individuals who are authorized to work in the United States. Each new employee, as a condition of employment, must complete the Employment Eligibility Verification Form I-9 and present documentation establishing identity and employment eligibility.
Ineligible Persons Screening – Compassionate Care Hospice will perform pre-employment screening to ensure employees, volunteers, vendors, and contractors (covered persons) have not been sanctioned or excluded from participating in any Federal health care program as prohibited by Federal law through the HHS/OIG List of Excluded Individuals/Entities (LEIE) and the General Services Administration’s System for Award Management (SAM).
